LOCATION: Located 30km from Manaus, on the banks of the Puraquequeara Lake. Access is by boat.

ROOMS: 32 rooms in 16 wooden bungalows (two rooms in each bungalow), equipped with two twin beds, mosquito nets, private bathroom with shower, and veranda with hammock.

FACILITIES: Lodge has 1 restaurant, sun deck, tour desk, gift shop.

COMMENTS: Because of the high acidic pH level of the water, mosquitoes and viruses causing dengue, cholera, malaria, and yellow fever does not proliferate in this area. It is close to civilization, within the Municipality of Manaus.
