The
Amazon Village
Located some 20 miles from
Manaus on the banks of one of the Amazon's innumerable tributaries,
the Amazon
Village has 32 wooded
bungalows built among the trees, equipped with 2 rooms each, twin
beds and private bathroom facilities.
Tatu
Package
(3 days / 2 nights)
Day 1:
You will be picked up at the airport at 2:00 pm, and driven to Ceasa
Port. From there a regional boat will sail through the "Meeting
of the Waters," where the Solimoes and Negro Rivers meet to form
the Amazon, and arrive at the Amazon Village. After a buffet dinner
at the lodge, you will depart by motorized canoe with a guide, in
search of alligators. Overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast, depart by canoe to a nearby riverside clearing.
An experienced native will guide you through the jungle to explore
and discover the wonders of the Amazon forest. In the afternoon,
ride in a canoe with an outboard motor and guide. Explore the "igarapes"
(narrow creeks) and "igarapos" (flooded forest), only from February
to September during high water season. Overnight.
Day 3:
After breakfast, return to the airport for your connecting or international
flight.

The Ariau Jungle Tower
The first tree top lodge in
the entire Amazon is located at the junction of the Ariau River
and the Rio Negro, 35 miles from Manaus. The
Ariau
Jungle Tower provides
a unique opportunity to observe and photograph forest and wildlife
from a different perspective. A spacious restaurant is perched 35
feet above the ground and connected to a 70-foot high observation
platform, where you will enjoy a most spectacular view.

Day 1:
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the Ariau

After breakfast, an experienced native will guide you through the
jungle to explore and discover the wonders of the Amazon forest.
Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a reconnaissance
tour by motorized canoe; you will also get to visit a native's house.
After dinner, you will depart by motorized canoe with a guide in
search of alligators. Overnight.
Day 3:
Start your day by watching the sunrise over the Amazon. After breakfast,
you will start your return journey to Manaus. Upon arrival around
11:30 am, transfer to the airport or your hotel of choice.

Eco Park Lodge
DAY 1: Pick-up at your hotel
in Manaus and transfer to the pier. Transfer to Eco Park Lodge with
reception, followed by a visit to the Monkey Jungle. Dinner with
alligator spotting and overnight.
DAY 2: Breakfast followed by a nature hike. Regional lunch with
a visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (caboclos) with
an opportunity to go piranha fishing. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Following breakfast, depart for a full day meeting of the
waters, including lunch at the floating rest. Return to Manaus.

Amazon
Clipper
(4 days / 3 nights)
The best way to see the wonders
of the Amazon is to move around in this wonderful environment and
to be right in the middle of the jungle, especially during dawn
and dusk, with Amazon
Clipper boats designed
exclusively for cruising the Amazon River and its tributaries. Each
river boat offers double cabins with bunk beds, private toilet facilities
and air-conditioning in the evening.
Day 1:
Depart from the
Tropical hotel landing stage at 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a welcome drink,
meet the staff on board and commence your adventure. You will navigate
upstream to the Pagodao River. Shortly before sunset, take a canoe
trip with the possibility of observing nocturnal animals and perceiving
the changes in the forest at night fall.
Day 2:
This morning, walk in the forest with commentaries by the specialist
guide. You will observe the flora, visit a "caboclo" family and
be able to observe the local way of life. After lunch, the Clipper
will navigate through the Anavilhanas, the world's largest fresh
water archipelago. After dinner, you will go on a night trip to
see caimans and, depending on the season, you will possibly get
a chance to see frogs, sloths, snakes, and other species.
Day 3:
Today you will visit the village of Novo Airao with its handicraft
boat yards, sawmills, market, and more. After lunch, you will continue
to Praia Grande or another white sand beach. Afterwards, you will
enjoy a canoe trip to Lake Acajituba or an adjacent lake to see
the typical flora. During the early evening, try your luck at fishing
for piranhas. Dinner will be followed by a night trip to observe
the caimans.
Day 4:
Wake up at Lake January. Start your day with a canoe trip at sunrise
for bird watching and discovering the flood plain forest and lakes
with giant water lilies (in season). Return to your boat for breakfast
and navigate through the "Meeting of the Waters". Arrive at the
Tropical hotel landing stage at around 11:30 am.

Santana Boat
New boat that started operating on November 2000. Conceived and
built in Manaus, using wood and raw materials, joining a traditional
concept with the rigors of modern safety.
(Friday departures)
DAY 1: Pick-up at your hotel in Manaus for a 2:30 departure from
the pier. You will navigate toward the Meeting of the Waters, where
the Black River and the Amazon join themselves. Canoe riding in
the ecological park of January, where you will see the famous Victoria
Regia and visit a native village. After a drink with a great view
of the sunset, you will anchor at Jacareubal, where dinner will
be served.
DAY 2: Leaving early in the morning to the navilhanas archipelago
and its 300 islands. At Compridos Island, you will take out a canoe
in search of the rich flora and fauna of the Amazon. Lunch will
be on board. In the afternoon, you will visit the native community
of Terra Preta. After dinner, you will participate in harpoon fishing
in the "Igapos" and alligator spotting.
DAY 3: Early wake-up to watch the birds at sunrise. Breakfast on
board, looking out at the banks of the Black River. Back in Manaus,
in front of the Ponta Negra Beach, you will enjoy a swim before
lunch. Drop-off at the pier in Manaus.
